Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/4 c
- carrot, grated - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- yellow squash - 2 c
- Pepperidge farm herb stuffing - 1 pkg
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash, salt and onion. Drain. Mix squash, cream of chicken soup, chestnuts, sour cream, carrot and onion. Melt margarine with stuffing mix. Make a layer of stuffing, then cover with squash mixture; top with remainder of stuffing. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
