Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- margarine, melted - 4 Tbsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- yellow squash, sliced - 4 c
- mild Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- cheese flavored cracker crumbs - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. Saute squash with onion in 2 tablespoons of margarine. Combine squash, onion, sour cream, 1 cup of cheese, salt and pepper. Spoon into greased casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and cracker crumbs; pour remaining 2 tablespoons margarine over top. Bake for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
