Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- prepared horseradish - 1 tsp
- chopped onions - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- hot cooked rice - 3 c
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- shrimp - 1 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Saute onions and garlic in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, horseradish, basil and oregano. Simmer for 20 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in shrimp and cook 10 minutes longer. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
