Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can baked beans - 18 oz
- can tomato sauce - 8 oz
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- can chili peppers, chopped - 4 oz
- onion, chopped - 1/4 item
- cheese slices - 1 item
- cornbread - 1 item
How to make mexican sandwiches:
Brown the meat and drain. Add beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, onion and chili peppers. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Make cornbread and cut into squares. Slice each piece open and spread the mixture over the cornbread. Add a slice of cheese and allow to melt.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Sandwich.
