Ingredients/Components
- cake yeast - 1 item
- water - 2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- flour
- oil - 1/4 c
- flour again
- milk - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
How to make sweet rolls:
Syrup:2 c. sugar1 c. milk2 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350°. Dissolve yeast according to package directions. Mix dissolved yeast, sugar, salt, egg, 3 1/2 cups flour and oil with electric mixer. Blend the other 3 1/2 cups flour into dough mixture by hand. Mix in as much flour as possible. Allow dough to rise until double, then punch down. Let dough rise again. Roll out dough. Spread with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll dough and slice off 1/2-inch rolls. Bake on greased baking sheet for 25 to 30 minutes.
