  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 3 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • stick butter - 1 item

How to make pound cake:

In a mixing bowl, mix the margarine, butter and cream cheese. Add the sugar; cream thoroughly. Alternate 2 eggs, 1 cup flour, 2 eggs, 1 cup flour, etc., mixing well after each until all eggs and flour are used. Add the vanilla. Grease and flour a tube cake pan. Put cake in cold oven. Turn to 300° and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
