Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- crushed red pepper - 1 pepper,
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- cream-style corn - 1 c
- self-rising corn meal
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix all ingredients except cheese. Pour 1/4 batter into a well-greased 8 x 10-inch pan. Sprinkle cheese over top and then add remaining batter. Bake at 375° until golden brown.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
