- ground beef - 2 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- boxes Jiffy corn bread mix - 3 item
- small jar picante sauce - 1 item
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix corn bread according to box directions. Add corn. Brown ground beef with onion in skillet. In a pan larger than 9 x 13-inches, layer half of corn bread mix, hamburger mix, Cheddar cheese, picante sauce and the rest of the corn bread mix. Bake at 425° for 35 to 40 minutes.
