Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- oil - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sour milk - 1 c
- rhubarb - 2 c
- brown or white sugar
How to make rhubarb bread:
Beat sugar, egg and oil together. Add soda to sour milk and add to first mixture and mix well. Add vanilla, flour and rhubarb. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. You may add raisins or nuts if you wish. Makes 3 small loaves.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Weeknight.
