Overnight scalloped chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- soft bread crumbs
- hard boiled eggs, chopped - 3 item
- butter or margarine, melted and divided - 1/2 c
- chopped cooked chicken or turkey - 4 c
- processed American cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
- box macaroni, uncooked - 1 oz
- cans condensed cream mushroom soup, undiluted - 2 3/4
How to make overnight scalloped chicken casserole:
Combine soup, milk and cheese. Add meat, macaroni and eggs; stir in 1/4 cup melted butter. Transfer to greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Toss bread crumbs with remaining butter and sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350° for 60 to 65 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Side dish, 3 steps or less.
