Cucumber casserole



  • buttered bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • cheese, shredded - 1/2 c
  • large onion, sliced round - 1 item
  • cucumbers, peeled and seeded - 4 item
  • can cream of celery soup or 1 can Italian soup or small can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • ground beef, browned and drained of grease* - 1 lb

How to make cucumber casserole:

*You can use half ground beef and half sausage.

Slice cucumbers and onions into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Add meat; pour soup or sauce over vegetables. Top with cheese and buttered crumbs (can mix the cheese and crumbs together). Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
