  • milk - 1 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cracker crumbs - 1 c
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
  • stick margarine, melted - 1 item
  • yellow squash, sliced - 2 lb

How to make squash casserole:

Cook squash and onion in a small amount of water until tender; drain. Season with salt and pepper. Add beaten egg, margarine and cheese. Pour into casserole dish. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
