Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- yellow squash, sliced - 2 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion in a small amount of water until tender; drain. Season with salt and pepper. Add beaten egg, margarine and cheese. Pour into casserole dish. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
