- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- ground meat - 1 lb
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- large cucumbers - 6 item
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- additional bread crumbs for topping - 1 item
How to make cucumber casserole:
Cook ground meat in butter until brown. Add onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic; cook until tender. Add bread crumbs and egg; cook another 5 minutes. Add chopped cucumbers. Top with bread crumbs and bake at 300° about 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Onions.
