Cream of crab soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- parsley flakes - 1 item
- celery salt - 1/4 tsp
- crabmeat - 1 lb
- vegetable bouillon cube - 1 item
- few drops Tabasco - 1 item
How to make cream of crab soup:
Dissolve bouillon in water. Cook onion in butter or margarine until tender. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk and bouillon gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add crabmeat and heat, but do not boil. Garnish with parsley. Serves 6.A Maryland favorite.
