Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- grated cheese - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- large carrots, shredded - 2 item
- bunch broccoli, finely chopped - 1 item
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Put veggies in a large kettle and cover with one quart water. Simmer until tender. Mix milk with 1 quart cool water in blender; add to veggies. Make a roux of 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine and enough flour to make a smooth paste. Add to soup. Add grated cheese to taste. Salt and pepper to taste.
