Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- cans chicken broth - 2 3/4
- parsley flakes - 1 item
- stalks celery - 3 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- chopped green onions - 3 item
- carrots, grated - 2 item
- sherry optional - 3 Tbsp
- cans potato soup - 3 3/4
- salt and coarsely ground pepper - 1 item
How to make cheese soup:
Melt butter; saute onions, celery and carrots. Add chicken broth; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add potato soup, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream and simmer 15 minutes.
