Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- oil
- chicken broth - 1/4 c
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- onion - 1 item
- garlic - 1 item
How to make crawfish pie:
Crawfish:1/2 c. oil1 onion garlic1 Tbsp. parsley1/4 c. chicken broth White Sauce: Melt butter; add flour. Mix. Cook on low heat until bubbly. Stir in milk; bring to boil. Cool.Crawfish: Devein 1 pound of crawfish tails and chop. Put in skillet. Heat and add onion. Saute. Add garlic, parsley and chicken broth. Reduce heat. Cook 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in white sauce; salt and pepper to taste. Pour in pie shell. Cover with second pie shell and seal. Cut slits in top crust. Bake at 450° for 25 to 30 minutes.
