Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder optional - 1/8 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- fish fillets - 1 lb
- safflower oil - 2 Tbsp
- each: pepper, paprika and basil - 1/4 tsp
How to make oven fried fish:
Combine melted margarine, lemon juice and seasonings. Dip fish fillets in this mixture and cover with bread crumbs. Spread oil in baking dish and arrange fillets in 1 layer. Spoon any remaining margarine mixture over fish and bake in 475° oven for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.Recipe categories: Main dish, Fish, Seafood.
