Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 3/4
  • minced green onion - 1/4 c
  • tomato sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • bell pepper - 1/2 item
  • dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • clove garlic, pressed - 1 item
  • seasoned breadcrumbs - 1/2 c
  • double crust for 9-inch pie
  • ribs celery, ground - 2 item
  • crawfish tails ground - 1 lb

How to make crawfish pie:

Cooking Time: 35 minutes. Temperature: 350°.

Saute onion, garlic, pepper and celery in butter until limp. Add soup, tomato sauce, ground crawfish and parsley. Cook slowly for 10 minutes. Turn off heat. Add breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and egg. Add milk and mix well. For 9-inch pie, bake in double crust for 35 minutes at 350°.
