Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1 Tbsp
- slices bread - 2 item
- seafood seasoning - 1 tsp
- lightly beaten egg - 1 item
- crab meat, flaked - 1 lb
How to make crab cakes:
Break 2 slices bread into small pieces. Mix thoroughly with 1 lightly beaten egg, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning, 1 teaspoon parsley flakes, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce and 2 teaspoons baking powder. Combine with 1 pound crab meat, flaked. Shape into 8 cakes. Fry in small amount of hot fat.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
