Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 Tbsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 Tbsp
  • diced onion - 1/4 c
  • diced green pepper - 1/4 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • parsley - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1/2 c
  • cooked shrimp - 3/4 lb
  • Minute Rice
  • peeled tomatoes - 1 can

How to make shrimp creole:

Drain tomatoes, save liquid and add water to make 1 1/3 cups. Saute celery, onion, pepper in butter. Add raw shrimp. Cook until pink. Add liquid, tomatoes, sugar and salt, etc. Cover and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in rice. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
