Shrimp creole



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 Tbsp
- diced onion - 1/4 c
- diced green pepper - 1/4 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- parsley - 1 item
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- cooked shrimp - 3/4 lb
- Minute Rice
- peeled tomatoes - 1 can
How to make shrimp creole:
Drain tomatoes, save liquid and add water to make 1 1/3 cups. Saute celery, onion, pepper in butter. Add raw shrimp. Cook until pink. Add liquid, tomatoes, sugar and salt, etc. Cover and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in rice. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
