Ingredients/Components

  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chicken broth - 2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • chopped green peppers - 1/4 1/2
  • can Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chilies - 1 item
  • chicken or 4 chicken breasts, cooked and diced - 1 item

How to make chicken creole:

Saute onion, celery and peppers in margarine. Gradually add remaining ingredients. Simmer on stove for 1 to 2 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste. If too thin, add a cornstarch mixture to thicken. If too thick, add more broth. Serve over rice.
