Chicken creole
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- chopped green peppers - 1/4 1/2
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chilies - 1 item
- chicken or 4 chicken breasts, cooked and diced - 1 item
How to make chicken creole:
Saute onion, celery and peppers in margarine. Gradually add remaining ingredients. Simmer on stove for 1 to 2 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste. If too thin, add a cornstarch mixture to thicken. If too thick, add more broth. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
