Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- crushed corn flakes - 1 item
- diced celery - 1 c
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- diced chicken
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
- cooked rice - 1 c
- hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 3 item
- water chestnuts, sliced - 1 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix together all but last three ingredients. Place in 2-quart casserole. Stir slivered almonds in melted butter. Spread over top of mixture. Cover with crushed corn flakes. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
