Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chicken broth - 3 c
  • chopped carrots - 1/2 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • parsley - 1 item
  • chopped potatoes - 1 c
  • shredded or cubed Velveeta - 3 c

How to make cheesy chowder:

Cook veggies in butter or margarine until tender. Add chicken broth, soup and pepper. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Blend milk and flour; stir into chowder. Add cheese and parsley. Heat through until cheese melts and chowder thickens.
