Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- minced parsley - 2 tsp
- cooked rice - 3 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- raw shrimp - 12 oz
- bay leaves, crushed - 2 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Melt butter in skillet and add onion, celery, peppers and garlic. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add tomato sauce, water, parsley, salt, pepper, bay leaves and shrimp. Simmer for 10 minutes (you may need to add additional water) and serve over hot cooked rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
