Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- coarsely chopped onion - 1 c
- cayenne - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- fresh chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- garlic cloves, chopped - 2 item
- fresh tomato wedges - 2 c
- cooked, deveined shrimp - 2 c
How to make shrimp creole:
Melt butter and saute garlic, onion and celery for about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and all seasonings, except parsley. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes. Add parsley. Serve over cooked rice at once. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
