Slow cooker stuffing
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- chopped onion - 2 c
- chopped celery - 2 c
- chicken broth - 3 to
- sage
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- marjoram - 1/2 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 1 tsp
- thyme - 1 tsp
- sausage - 1 lb
- slightly dry bread cubes - 12 13
How to make slow cooker stuffing:
Crumble sausage in pan. Add next 3 ingredients. Cook until done; drain. Pour over bread cubes in large bowl. Add seasoning and toss together. Pour in enough broth to moisten. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Put stuffing into slow cooker and cover. Set to high for 45 minutes. Reduce to low and cook 6 to 8 hours.Recipe categories: Christmas, Side dish, Stuffings Dressings.
