Conch fritters
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- baking powder
- tomato paste - 3 Tbsp
- hot sauce - 2 tsp
- horseradish - 2 tsp
- mayo - 1 c
- medium eggs - 2 item
- conch - pounded and ground - 2 item
- small green pepper - finely chopped - 1/2 item
- small red pepper - finely chopped - 1/2 item
- large onion - finely chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery - finely chopped - 2 item
- Sauce:1/4 c ketchup
- few drops Tabasco - 1 item
- few drops of Worcestershire - 1 item
How to make conch fritters:
Sauce:1/4 c ketchup1 c. mayo2 tsp. horseradish few drops Tabasco few drops of Worcestershire Mix all ingredients except flour, until well blended, then add flour. Heat 2 inches of oil in deep pan. Drop mixture by teaspoonful into hot oil. Turn when golden brown.Mix all sauce ingredients together and dip the hot fritters into the sauce.
