pkg - 1 oz
milk - 1/2 c
sour cream - 1 pt
plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
crushed cornflakes - 1 c
grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
chopped green onions - 1/2 c

How to make potato casserole:

Preheat oven to 350°. Melt 1/2 cup butter. Pour into 9 x 12-inch dish. Add 1/2 package of hash browns. In a separate bowl, mix soup, sour cream, milk and green onions. Pour 1/2 of mixture over hash browns. Pour remainder of mixture on top. Add remainder of hash browns. Pour remainder of mixture on top. Sprinkle remainder of cheese on top. Cover with crushed corn flakes. Pour 2 tablespoons of melted margarine over mixture.; Bake for 45 minutes or until done.

To microwave, follow same steps but cook for 16 to 20 minutes, turning 1/4 turns every 4 to 5 minutes during cooking. Makes 12 servings.
