Potato casserole



  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb
  • 1/2 sticks butter, melted - 1 item
  • jar Cheese Whiz - 8 oz
  • corn flakes, crushed - 2 c

How to make potato casserole:

Cover the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan (sprayed with Pam) with slightly thawed hash browns; sprinkle onions, salt and pepper over potatoes. Pour 1/2 of the butter over the potatoes; heat the soups, cheese and sour cream and pour over potatoes. Mix the remaining butter with corn flakes and sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
