Harvard beets



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • can beets - 1 lb
  • butter optional - 1 Tbsp

How to make harvard beets:

Drain liquid from beets into saucepan. Boil down to half. Shake together vinegar and flour. Stir into boiling mixture. Add sugar and salt; bring to boil. Add beets and butter; heat through.
