Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- can beets - 1 lb
- butter optional - 1 Tbsp
How to make harvard beets:
Drain liquid from beets into saucepan. Boil down to half. Shake together vinegar and flour. Stir into boiling mixture. Add sugar and salt; bring to boil. Add beets and butter; heat through.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
