Swiss baked potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- stick butter, melted - 1/2 item
- pepper - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- 4 oz - 1 c
- large baking potatoes, peeled - 3 item
How to make swiss baked potatoes:
Halve potatoes lengthwise, then slice crosswise into 1/8-inch slices. (Do not put potatoes in water after slicing.) Immediately line up in pan with slices overlapping, arranging in serving portions. Pour butter over potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with Swiss cheese and then with Parmesan cheese. Bake an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned in 500° oven in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
