sour cream - 1 pt
salt - 1 tsp
butter - 1/2 c
pepper - 1/4 tsp
chopped onion - 1/2 c
crushed corn flakes - 2 c
can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
grated sharp cheddar cheese - 2 c

How to make potato casserole:

Mix together 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Put in baking dish. For topping, mix 1/4 cup butter and corn flakes; sprinkle over top. Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes.
