Baked sweet potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- honey - 1/4 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
- frozen orange juice - 2 Tbsp
- juice from 1 lemon
- juice from pineapple - 1 item
- cans sweet potatoes or partly cooked sweet potatoes - 2 item
- large apples, cored - 4 item
How to make baked sweet potatoes:
Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place the first 3 ingredients in dish in layers. Add enough water to pineapple juice to make 1 full cup. Bring remaining ingredients to boil. Pour over potatoes, etc. in dish. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
