  • eggs, beaten - 4 item
  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • milk
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • butter, melted - 1/2 c
  • loaf Sun-Maid raisin bread - 1 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • flaked coconut - 1 c
  • whipped topping - 1 item

How to make granny's bread pudding:

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix eggs, 1 cup sugar, milk, vanilla and butter in a large bowl. Tear bread into small pieces and spread in the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Sprinkle nuts and coconut over bread. Pour egg mixture over this and let set for 5 minutes for bread to absorb moisture. Sprinkle top with the cinnamon and sugar. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until firm at 350°. Serve warm with whipped topping.
