Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/3 tsp
  • dark brown sugar - 1 c
  • melted butter or margarine - 1/3 c
  • white corn syrup - 1 c
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • whole eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
  • shelled whole pecans

How to make pecan pie:

Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over all. Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes.
