Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 2 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • can crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 oz
  • chopped nuts pecans are best - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • Icing:1 stick margarine
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c

How to make swedish nut cake:

Icing:1 stick margarine1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla2 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix all ingredients. Place in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cake cool 10 minutes and spread icing on warm cake.
