Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 2 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- marjoram - 1/2 tsp
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- onions - 2 item
- bunch broccoli - 1 item
- chopped garlic clove - 1 item
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Trim broccoli and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices. Steam in salted water until tender. Saute onions, celery and garlic in butter. Stir in flour. Add milk, broth and herbs.
