Cheddar cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 c
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 2 c
- chopped celery - 1/3 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- chopped carrots - 1/3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped green onion - 1 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- jar Cheez Whiz - 1 oz
- medium white onion, chopped - 1 item
How to make cheddar cheese soup:
Boil carrots, celery and green onions in water for 5 minutes. Saute white onion in butter until translucent. Add flour and blend well. Boil chicken broth. Stir into onion mixture with a wire whisk.
