Crawfish etouffee
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onions, chopped - 3 item
- 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
- crawfish tails with fat - 2 lb
- large green onion tops, chopped - 3 item
How to make crawfish etouffee:
Saute onions in butter until clear. Add crawfish tails; cook, covered, over low heat about 20 minutes. Add green onions and small amount of water for desired consistency. Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over rice. Serves 5 to 6.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crawfish.
