Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • soft bread crumbs - 2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/4 c
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • crab meat - 1 lb
  • drops hot pepper sauce - 2 item

How to make crab cakes:

Mix mayonnaise, egg, parsley, mustard, salt and pepper, pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Add crab meat and 1 cup bread crumbs; mix well. Shape in 8 patties and coat with remaining 1 cup crumbs. Fry in hot oil until brown.
