Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 4 c
- grits - 1 c
- tube garlic cheese - 6 oz
- tube sharp cheese - 6 oz
How to make cheese grits:
Slice or tear cheese into small pieces. Bring salted water to boil; slowly add grits. Bring to second boil, reduce heat and cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring. Add cheese and butter to grits, stirring until cheese melts. Pour into ungreased casserole. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Low cholesterol, Low fat.
