Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 6 item
- bulk sausage - 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese, cubed - 1 c
How to make breakfast casserole:
Brown sausage and drain. Beat eggs; add milk, bread, salt and mustard. Add sausage and then cheese. Bake in greased 9 x 9-inch pan at 350° for 45 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before serving. This may be made up ahead and kept in fridge overnight. Leftovers reheat well.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
