Baked scallops



  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • scallops
  • Mozzarella cheese, coarsely grated - 1/4 lb
  • white wine Chablis is best - 1 c

How to make baked scallops:

Clean and drain scallops. On stove, melt butter in baking dish or pan on a low temperature. Add scallops, salt, pepper and parsley. Saute 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in wine. Sprinkle cheese over the top of the mixture. Bake in 300° oven for about 20 minutes or until bubbly. Broil 1 to 2 minutes to brown the cheese. Serve hot.
