Baked scallops
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- dry white wine - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- bay scallops - 1 lb
- medium onion, chopped medium fine - 1 item
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese - 6 oz
- soft bread crumbs mixed with 1 Tbsp - 1/2 c
How to make baked scallops:
Use your favorite fish fillet. Crush some Ritz crackers in a plastic bag. Put a few slabs of butter in a pyrex dish. Sprinkle half the crushed crackers on top of butter. Place fish on top of butter. Place crushed crackers on top of fillets. Put some butter on top of crackers. Bake or broil until done. If needed, add more butter.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Scallops.
