Broccoli quiche



  • eggs - 5 item
  • half and half
  • salt
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • natural Swiss cheese, shredded - 1/3 lb
  • fresh or frozen broccoli florets - 10 oz
  • homemade or frozen pie shells not deep dish - 2 item

How to make broccoli quiche:

Preheat oven to 400°. Steam broccoli for 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Beat eggs. Add half and half, salt and pepper. Stir. Crumble broccoli into pie shells. Top with Swiss cheese. Pour egg mixture over broccoli and cheese (but not too full). Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
