Tuna croquettes
Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 1 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dash of basil - 1 item
- oil for frying - 1 item
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- cracker meal - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup undiluted - 2 item
- cans tuna, drained - 2 item
- stack pack saltine crackers, crushed well - 1 item
How to make tuna croquettes:
Drain tuna well. Flake in mixing bowl. Add well crushed crackers, basil and black pepper. Toss well. Add egg and stir. Add soup and mix very well. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Cube cheese into about 1/2-inch cubes. Take portion of tuna mixture. Put cheese in center. Form around cheese. Roll in cracker meal. Deep fry in cooking oil until golden brown.
