Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- grated onion - 2 Tbsp
- sliced yellow squash - 3 c
- pimento for color - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Topping:1/4 c. bread crumbs1 Tbsp. margarine Cook squash in a small amount of water until tender. Drain and mash. Add all other ingredients, except the topping. Mix well and pour into a greased baking dish.Mix together bread crumbs and margarine. Sprinkle casserole with topping and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
