Ingredients/Components

- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- yellow squash - 1 to
- to 1/2 stick butter - 1/3 item
- to 3 slices bread - 2 item
- cracker crumbs Ritz crackers - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Boil squash in salted water until tender. Cut bread slices into small pieces. Drain squash. Add butter and egg; mix well. Add bread crumbs or pieces; mix well. Fold cheese into mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Spread cracker crumbs on top of squash and bake for 5 or 10 more minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
