Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • minced onion - 1/2 c
  • ground cumin - 3/4 tsp
  • medium zucchini - 1 item
  • slices bacon - 3 item
  • ears corn - 4 item
  • can tomatoes or 3 fresh tomatoes, chopped - 1 item

How to make corn and zucchini saute:

Cut off corn; cut zucchini in 1/2 inch slices. In large skillet saute bacon until crisp. Add onion and saute 3 minutes. Add corn, zucchini, tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper and cumin. Simmer until tender. Mix cornstarch and water. Add and cook until slightly thick.
